The Hampton Open

The Hampton Open is a PickleBall Tournament benefiting Ronald McDonald House New York. Starting in 2022, this annual event based in EAST HAMPTON, NY directly supports families with children going through care.

Read the below from the founder, Holden Lipton:
The idea of a PickleBall Fundraising Event came to mind after playing myself. I was like “wow, this is an amazing sport, that all individuals of different ages could play”. After my family went through the experience of my brother being diagnosed with, treated for, and beating cancer, I knew that I wanted the chance to provide comfort to families who were going through similar situations. I was inspired by the volunteers at Memorial Sloan Kettering that kept my brother active, engaged, and joyful throughout his treatment. Sitting on the Youth Advisory Council and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House New York gives me the opportunity to provide families with a comfortable and welcoming home while maintaining the patients’ happiness.

Helping these families brings me endless amounts of gratification and I have Ronald McDonald House New York to thank for creating this wonderful place.
